That’s why potter used milk firing technique, which includes several stages. At first, handmade clay art tea cups are wheel thrown and baked in the oven. After that, craftsman bathes pottery in the milk to achieve special properties, which protect ceramic mugs from moisture and growth of nasty microbes. So you can keep milk and other products during long time. After bathing in the milk, pottery mug is baked the second time at temperature up to 950°C, which gives handmade ceramic mugs a special effect of warmth, antiquity and artistry. They are also decorated with handmade Tree of Life pattern, which makes the cup more beautiful. The Tree of Life is the symbol of the progenitor of all living and the Universe combining spiritual and material worlds.
