This is the sculpture of a guardian angel. This kind of angel accompanies human through all his life, protecting him from evil forces and negative energy. Guardian Angels envelop people with happiness and joy, their gentle, but powerful wings can protect a person from all misery. Each person has his own patron.

The wings, a halo and the bottoms of angels clothes are decorated with the Ukrainian amber, orange stone, from which emanates warmth. According to the legend, this stone enriches human with serenity, as if he warms the inside of the owner. This is not surprising, because the color is so openly sunny, it's easy to believe that his heat penetrates into the heart. This stone was a sign of luxury for many centuries. Things made of amber were given to kings, princes. So the statue with this stone is a great gift to a respectable man. Sophocles, Aeschylus, Pliny - all these important figures of ancient Greece talked about amber in their works, calling it a concentrate of a sunlight, tears of birds and other poetic names. The King of Prussia had even presented to Peter I the whole Amber Room. The wings, a halo, and clothes of the angel are lavishly decorated with amber, that here and there illuminates a sculpture with its luxury.
