Creating handcrafted designer pillows, the craftsman has used Ukrainian vybiika hand printing technique having originated from the woodcut. This is an ancient relief printing technique in printmaking. Nowadays this technique is used by Ukrainian craftsmen very rare, so that handmade printed decorative cushions are really exclusive. Contemporary vybiika hand printing process is difficult and consists of several steps. First, craftsman creates patterns from the special linoleum and cuts them with the scoop. The second step is covering these patterns with special print paint. To print the pattern on the textile pieces, craftsman used an old printing press.
