Straw weaving was engaged in Ukraine since the beginning of time, it is one of the first crafts, which captured Ukrainians. The thing is that our ancestors, as we are now, sought to surround themselves with things not only practical, but also the decorative. This angel is skillfully woven in various kinds of weaving - a spiral, helical, straight. All these techniques form a pattern of unprecedented beauty. Angel clothes are decorated with flowers which add to it a certain grandeur. Roses decorate clothes and the nimbus making it look like a wreath, an element of the Ukrainian national clothes. Young girls were wearing wreaths at various holidays, including the wedding. This angel can be a perfect present and Christmas ornament. Created by folk master Raisa Pavlenko.
