Milk pottery mugs embody ancient traditions of Ukrainian pottery art. Creating handmade pottery mugs, the potter has used milk firing technique. At first, pottery mugs are made by the hands of the craftsman and inspired by the special energy. Then the mug is fired in the kiln at the temperature of 1100 ° C. Before the second firing, pottery is immersed into fat milk presenting a nice fragrance of baked milk to the cup. After milk bathing, pottery mug is fired in the kiln at the temperature of 270—350 ° C adding to the pottery the effect of antiquity and artistry.
